SesionesLGH: The New Chilean Collective Bringing Real Energy, Intimacy & Authenticity to the Underground

Chile’s electronic scene is evolving at a fast pace, but 2025 marks the arrival of a project that feels genuinely different — raw, intimate, spontaneous, and rooted in real connection. SesionesLGH, created by Chilean DJs JAY PORTU, Tutti Lefever, and Talo Cifra, is quickly becoming one of the freshest and most authentic expressions of underground culture in the country.
Born from long conversations and a shared desire for consistency, freedom, and honesty, SesionesLGH emerged to fill a clear void in Chile’s electronic landscape: a space where DJs can play regularly, comfortably, and without pressure — simply for the love of music and connection.
Tired of the coldness of traditional livestreams and the limitations of club rotations, the trio envisioned a format where real moments could unfold naturally. That vision became SesionesLGH.
A Format Built on Real Moments
What makes SesionesLGH stand out is its authenticity. Rather than staging a performance, each session feels like an intimate gathering — friends sharing music, energy, and emotion in a cozy, lived-in atmosphere.
There are no scripts.
No rigid production rules.
No pressure to “perform.”
Each location gives the session its own identity. Each crowd brings its own energy. And each DJ contributes something personal and unfiltered. The result is content that feels alive, capturing the human side of electronic music and the warmth of Chile’s underground community.
JAY PORTU: Strengthening His Identity Through Collective Expression
Although SesionesLGH is a collective project, it also reflects the artistic evolution of JAY PORTU, who has been steadily growing within Chile’s scene since 2022.
As a solo artist, JAY has performed in some of the country’s most respected venues and events, including:
- Sky Beats at Sky Costanera
- Club La Feria
- Club Room
- Miércoles Electrónicos
- And his first international show at Ronin Club, Bogotá
His style moves between tech house, house, jackin house, and progressive, building sets with dynamic storytelling and a deep emotional connection to the dancefloor.
SesionesLGH has expanded that identity, giving JAY a space to explore, experiment, collaborate, and reconnect with the essence of why he became a DJ in the first place.
This is what Jay Porty has to tell us about the Vision Behind SesionesLGH
How did the idea of SesionesLGH begin, and what gap did you feel needed to be filled in the Chilean scene?
SesionesLGH started from conversations between Jay, Tutti Lefever, and Talo Cifra. They all felt the scene lacked a consistent, relaxed, and authentic space where DJs could play without depending on club rotations or big opportunities. They wanted a place where DJs could show who they truly are — intimate, real, and centered on music.
What makes SesionesLGH feel so authentic compared to other session formats?
Jay explains that each edition feels like “a gathering among friends” rather than a planned recording. Every session develops naturally, shaped by the atmosphere of the location and the energy of the people present. Nothing is forced, and that organic feeling is what viewers and attendees connect with.
What has been the biggest challenge in producing each edition?
The technical side. Jay had to learn editing and audiovisual production from scratch. This gives the project a “natural but professional” identity. Coordinating locations, schedules, guests, and recordings while preserving spontaneity has also been a major logistical challenge.
How has SesionesLGH influenced your identity as a DJ?
The project has helped Jay deepen his connection with music and with people. Playing monthly in a relaxed environment has strengthened his artistic growth and emotional connection with listeners. Inviting a different DJ for each edition inspires him to explore new styles and collaborations.
Where would you like to take SesionesLGH in the future?
There’s no rigid plan — and that’s the beauty of it. The goal is to continue growing organically, improving each edition, inviting more DJs, exploring new locations, and preserving the essence that made the project special from the beginning. The dream is simply to let SesionesLGH find its own path.
A Project That Feels Like a Movement
Although still young, SesionesLGH is evolving quickly. With each edition, the collective expands its reach, refines its identity, and strengthens its bond with the public.
It’s more than a format.
More than a content series.
More than a monthly gathering.
SesionesLGH is a celebration of authenticity, a reminder of why electronic music matters, and one of the most refreshing contributions to Chile’s underground culture in 2025.
Editor words:
At Glitch Mag, we gravitate toward projects that push culture forward by staying true to their roots — and SesionesLGH embodies that spirit with rare clarity. It’s a project built on warmth, honesty, and human connection in a scene that often leans toward polish over authenticity. What JAY Portu, Tutti Lefever, and Talo Cifra have created feels less like a series and more like a living organism: constantly evolving, deeply personal, and grounded in a genuine love for community and sound.
For those who want to experience its magic firsthand, dive into their latest sessions, upcoming guests, and behind-the-scenes moments through their Instagram, YouTube, and official links.
As a publication committed to highlighting emerging movements and voices that matter, we recommend SesionesLGH because it captures something essential — a reminder that the most powerful moments in electronic music happen when people gather, breathe, and share music without filters.
