In his own words:

Francisco, tell us a bit about your journey. How did your connection with electronic music begin?

“I was always drawn to electronic drum sounds over conventional ones. Around 1996, a friend introduced me to non-commercial techno. I was blown away by the idea of mixing tracks and creating my own compositions. By 2006, I had developed a close connection with minimal, deep house, and club music, which I continue to explore today.”

When did you decide to start your own label?

“When I started producing in 2009, I wanted to release on my favorite labels. Over time, I realized the idea of having my own label would give me full creative freedom and allow me to curate music from like-minded artists. 2026 marks 20 years of DJing, so it felt like the perfect time.”

What does ‘Diar Muzik’ mean?

“DIAR stands for Dancefloor is a Runway. It reflects the energy and expression I see on the dance floor each night. The dance floor is part of the show—style, expression, and good vibes all come together.”

What will be the musical identity of the label?

“The label focuses on minimal, deep tech, deep house, and organic house. I want music that’s introspective, refined, and designed for the dance floor. Only tracks I’d play in my DJ sets will make it to Diar Muzik.”

Will the label focus on Chilean artists or be open globally?

“We have collaborators worldwide, including Chilean artists and jazz musicians from Concepción. It’s about quality, not nationality. This EPs will be the first of many defining the label’s musical line, and we’ll open a submission channel for demos soon.”

The debut EP, produced by Ruiz-Tagle and mastered by Bulgarian producer Daniel De Roma, includes two tracks that exemplify Diar Muzik’s signature sound: tight rhythms, subtle textures, and a modern fusion of style and energy.

Ruiz-Tagle has shared stages with Nick Warren and Argenis Brito, and released music on labels such as LittleHelpers, GlobalUnderground, and Resonance. His international performances and upcoming tours continue to solidify his reputation as a figure in global electronic music.
